Which WSCOME product do you have?
- WBT-V3 is a DIY conversion module for one wired USB keyboard or one wired USB mouse at a time.
- WBT2-V4 is a finished keyboard and mouse switch for one keyboard and one mouse across up to 8 computers.
WBT-V3 quick start
WBT-V3 is for users who are converting a working wired USB keyboard or wired USB mouse into a wireless device. It is not a finished external switch box. You install the module into your own build and then choose how the converted device will connect.
- Connect one wired USB keyboard or one wired USB mouse to the module.
- Prepare a lithium battery. 2000mAh or above is the recommended starting point.
- If you want receiver mode, insert a matching WSCOME 2.4GHz receiver into the target computer.
- If you want Bluetooth mode, pair the target computer or tablet through Bluetooth.
- You can also use wired mode when needed.
WBT-V3 supports Bluetooth mode, 2.4GHz receiver mode, and wired mode. It also supports battery use, Type-C wired power, and charging management.
WBT-V3 hotkeys and mode switching
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 1 to 8: switch between paired device slots
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Q: switch to Bluetooth mode
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + W: switch to wired mode
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E: switch to 2.4GHz receiver mode
- Hold F1 for 10 seconds: factory reset

Important WBT-V3 limits
- WBT-V3 has only one USB input. It is for one keyboard or one mouse, not both together.
- It is a DIY module. The user handles battery, wiring, and installation.
- If you want one keyboard and one mouse together across several computers, WBT2-V4 is the better fit.
WBT2-V4 quick start
WBT2-V4 is the ready-to-use WSCOME option for sharing one keyboard and one mouse across multiple computers. You do not need to open the keyboard or do DIY internal wiring.
- Connect your keyboard and mouse to the two USB input ports.
- For receiver mode, insert a matching WSCOME receiver into each target computer that will use receiver switching.
- For Bluetooth mode, pair the target computers through Bluetooth.
- WBT2-V4 supports switching across up to 8 computers.
- The device includes a built-in battery and does not require the same LAN or keyboard-sharing software.
WBT2-V4 buttons, hotkeys, and mode switching
WBT2-V4 supports both shortcut switching and on-device manual control. The unit includes 4 physical quick-switch buttons, and hotkeys can be used to move between saved device numbers.
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + 1 to 8: switch to the saved device number
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Q: switch to Bluetooth mode
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E: switch to 2.4GHz receiver mode
- Ctrl + Alt + Shift + F1: hold for 10 seconds to factory reset
WBT2-V4 Windows settings tool
If you use the Windows configuration tool, WBT2-V4 can adjust several settings beyond the default hardware switching behavior.

For normal use, WBT2-V4 does not require software installation. The Windows tool is only for changing supported settings.
Common buyer questions
Do these products switch monitor video too?
No. WBT-V3 and WBT2-V4 are not HDMI or DisplayPort KVM products. They focus on keyboard and mouse use only.
Do I need all computers on the same LAN?
No. These workflows do not depend on all target computers being on the same local network.
Which one should I choose if I need both keyboard and mouse together?
Choose WBT2-V4. WBT-V3 is for one wired USB input at a time, while WBT2-V4 is built for one keyboard and one mouse together and supports up to 8 computers.
