How to connect wireless keyboard without receiver.
To explain this problem clearly, we must first talk about the connection method of the wireless keyboard.
- There are two ways to connect a wireless keyboard. One is Bluetooth, which is the simplest. The Bluetooth wireless keyboard can be connected using the built-in Bluetooth of the computer. If the built-in Bluetooth module of the computer is broken, you can also go to Amazon to buy a $1 USB Bluetooth adapter. Here you must pay attention to the version, at least Bluetooth 5.3 or above, with stronger anti-interference ability, longer connection distance, lower latency, and better compatibility. The higher the Bluetooth version, the better, because the higher version of Bluetooth can be compatible with lower version devices.
- The second connection method is more complicated. Generally speaking, it is a 2.4g wireless receiver. 2.4g is not an accurate value, but a frequency band. The specific frequency range is 2.400-2.4835GHz. And use frequency hopping technology or adaptive frequency modulation to avoid interference in the same frequency band. The biggest advantage of the 2.4g receiver is that it supports multi-device pairing. Therefore, when pairing the 2.4g receiver and the wireless keyboard, not only the hardware needs to support each other, but the software also needs to support each other and match the same frequency band and wireless address. For most wireless keyboard manufacturers, the parameters of the wireless receiver and the pairing software are private and not open to the public, so pairing is impossible. If the receiver is lost, you can only throw away the keyboard and buy a new one.
There are two exceptions here. One is Logitech’s Unifying. There are separate receivers for sale on the market. The pairing software and method are public, but the Logitech receiver can only be used on Logitech’s wireless keyboard. The other is wscome’s wbt series wired keyboard to wireless module. We also provide separate 2.4g receivers for sale and pairing settings software. And we are compatible with all keyboards that use standard key codes. So even if the wireless receiver is lost, if your keyboard still has USB wired mode available, then you can also use a wired connection to the wbt-v3 module and use the wbt-v3 receiver to wirelessly connect to the computer to repair your wireless keyboard. Or if you have a PS2 keyboard from 30 years ago, you can also directly convert the PS2 data cable to USB and connect it to wbt-v3, which can also be converted into a wireless keyboard. In addition, if you need to share a keyboard and mouse with multiple computers, you can use wbt2-v4, a dual-interface keyboard and mouse that can be connected to 8 computers at the same time and wirelessly shared. - WBT-V3
